I can’t speak for others but I’ve got immense respect for those in the armed forces and their families. To step into a life knowing the uncertainty that comes with it takes courage. I salute you and your family.

My father was in the defence services too and I know that “moving-every-year” feeling all too well :)

I thank them almost every night for the peaceful night ahead of me ,the comfort zone in which I am living . I feel ,we all owe this to you people.

Army wives deserve a lot more respect and in no case they should be asked to sign a bond. The stripes they wear and the battle they go through might be invisible to the naked eye but it deserves respect and appreciation.

Forget the HR guys. Over a decade and a half ago, they were not agreeing to onboard me as my son was just 5 months or so. They gave reasons like you may be off without notice, blah blah.. But, eventually, I did get a job in a better company inspite of this. Hats off to the army wives.
